About
I am a graphic designer based in NYC. I graduated from the BFA program in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design in May 2018.
My background and journey into design is a varied and contradictory one. Just like myself, it arises from a myriad of backgrounds and influences. Having grown up in a multi-cultural family, from Italy to Peru to Miami, this wide-world, culturally rich perspective has informed my design and what I seek to achieve through it. For instance, this is reflected in my eclectic work experience. I have had the luck to experience different work environments, in different countries and different languages. I have interned in the editorial world, through the fashion magazine Marie Claire, have worked with fashion houses like Etro and Harris-Wharf and in the art industry through an internship in the Louvre. One of my main passions is travel, and this will always be illustrated in my life and my work. Similarly, my senior graduate thesis has focused on my background roots in Peru, which have inspired many of my previous Parsons projects and finally culminated into one big ode to that part of my culture and origin, through my book "Huacaya."
In my budding career as a designer, I seek to keep experiencing different cultures through the lens of design and thus, growing as an individual and visual artist.
